Editorial Commentary: Quadriceps Tendon All-Soft-Tissue Graft for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: More Information About A Newer Surgical Nail

Many different autografts are available for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Although patellar tendon graft and hamstrings most commonly used, quadriceps with or without a bone plug is gaining popularity. Preliminary evidence suggests that quad performs at least as well plug, although more comparative information needed. In the meantime, surgeons should strive to gain experience multiple grafts.
